            Create a Classification File from Scratch

            When creating classification rules you either upload a classification file or you create it from scratch. The file tells Marketing Cloud Intelligence how to classify your data.

            Required Editions

            User Permissions Needed
            Create classification file: Admin
            1. From the Connect & Mix tab, select Harmonization Center and then Data Classification.
            2. Edit a classification rule or create one.
            3. From the Upload Classification File dropdown, select Create a Classification File.
            4. Name the columns.
            5. Enter classification values.
            6. Click Done.
            • Configure Classification Rules
              After you upload or create a classification file using data classification, customize and configure the columns in your file. Determine which column is the Key column and which is the Value column. Control the way the system recognizes values in your file as well.
