Custom Classification Use Cases

Use this example to see how custom classifications are used to connect data from different data streams.

If you have this data in the Ads data stream type:

custom ads data

And you have this classification file for Product:

custom product data

In the Ads data stream, ‘Product Key’ is mapped to ‘Custom Classification 1:

The classification data stream is mapped in any data stream type, and the mapping looks like this:

You can now slice the data from the Ads data stream type using ‘Custom Classification 1’.

If something changes, for example the color of Product ID ‘222’ changes, change the classification file and process it. You don’t need to reprocess the Ads data stream for the data to change.
