          Set Up the Cross-Channel Marketing Insights App

          Use the Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app to compare campaign and creative performance across channels.

          Note The Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app now supports GA4 and can be selected alongside UA360 profiles during the installation. If you already installed the app and require GA4 profiles, you must first uninstall and then reinstall the app.

          To set up the app, connect your Google Analytics data by creating an authentication or by selecting an existing data stream. Then, connect your ads data set coming from sources, such as Facebook Ads, Instagram, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Combining Google Analytics visits and conversion data with paid ad spend and performance data allows a single source of truth on what’s working across platforms, campaigns and creatives.

          To install the Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app, you need:

          • A Google Analytics username and password
          • Usernames and passwords for: Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Pinterest Ads, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or HubSpot
          1. Install the Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app:
            1. In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, on the Marketplace tab, select Apps.
            2. Select the app and click Get it Now.
          2. Connect your Google Analytics data:
            1. If your Google Analytics user is already authenticated, select the username from the dropdown.
            2. If you must authenticate, click Add new.
            3. After you connect, all profiles that exist for your user appear in the dropdown. Select the profile that you want to connect to.
            4. Select the website where your data exists.
            5. Click Next.
          3. Connect your marketing channels:
            1. Select the platforms you want to visualize in the app, and then click Connect.
            2. Click Next.
            3. Select your account from the dropdown and then select the profiles to connect to.
            4. Repeat the same steps for each platform that you connect to.
          4. Click Install to complete the installation.
