Set Up the Data Dictionary App
The Data Dictionary app provides a list of all the available fields in your workspace. Setting up the app involves selecting the fields that you want to view, refining the selected fields, and then reviewing them to make sure that you included the correct fields.

Install the Data Dictionary app.
- In Marketing Cloud Intelligence, on the Marketplace tab, select Apps.
- Select the app, and click Get it Now.

Select the types of fields that you want to include in the list. If you want, you can
refine your selection.
- To exclude invisible fields, toggle Hide Invisible Fields.
- To exclude fields that don’t have descriptions defined for them on the workspace level, toggle Hide fields with no description.
- To add an expression column to the table, toggle Include Expression for Calculated Fields. This option only appears for fields that contain a calculation, such as calculated measurements.
- To apply filters to include or exclude fields with specific names, descriptions, or expression values, toggle on Filter. Use this action when including or excluding specific naming conventions. For example, if all old and unused fields are marked as internal, filter by excluding any fields containing the word internal.

To preview the fields that were found in your workspace, click
Review. All the fields appear in a table.
- To search for a specific field, enter a term in the Search bar (1).
- Show or hide field types by selecting the checkboxes of the fields that you want to show (2).
- Show or hide columns by selecting the checkboxes of the column names that you want to show (3).
- To return to the setup page, click the settings icon (4).
- To view updated data, click the refresh icon (5).
Note The data updates based on the data in the workspace according to this logic:- If you removed fields from the workspace, they don’t display anymore.
- If you added a description to a field in the workspace, the description appears in the app.
- If you updated fields, all the attributes of the fields are updated, except for the descriptions.
- If you updated the description in the workspace, the new description overrides the description in the app.
- If you removed the description or changed it, the description remains as it is in the app
- Click Finish
