The Marketing Cloud Intelligence Developer Portal

The Developer Portal is an easy-to-use and centralized location for developers who want to develop tools, use cases, and examples. The Developer Portal offers these tools: Query API, Platform API, Custom Data Connectors, and Apps.

API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of definitions, communication protocols, and tools for building software. API doesn’t use a GUI (Graphic User Interface), rather allows developers to call specific functions they require via API calls. Marketing Cloud Intelligence uses platform and query APIs, and a custom connector is used to integrate between Marketing Cloud Intelligence and other third parties. An app is a web application that lives in the Marketing Cloud Intelligence Marketplace and is built using Intelligence APIs and SDKs. Any Marketing Cloud Intelligence user can access the Developer Portal; however, your user must be API enabled in order to make successful API calls. Contact your Marketing Cloud Intelligence representative for more information. API is a programmatic interface and calls are executed from the developer’s code. It’s recommended you use a tool called Postman to explore.

Note All Marketing Cloud Intelligence authenticated users can access the API documentation, but only API-enabled users can execute API calls.
