SmartLenses in Marketing Cloud Intelligence
SmartLenses are predefined dashboard pages that are created for you after a supported data source is created for the first time. SmartLenses View
SmartLenses visualizations are built to match industry standards, tailored for the data source in question. The SmartLenses view changes according to the data source and, in some cases, according to the extended properties set up in the data source. For example, a Facebook data stream with no extended properties creates a different dashboard page view than a Facebook data stream with the get country checkbox selected.
Some data sources generate multiple SmartLenses dashboard page to provide a more convenient view. For example, the Google Ads data source creates a general view dashboard page and a keyword level dashboard page with a more in-depth view.
SmartLenses Settings
The SmartLenses collection has sharing permissions set to admins only, and all dashboard pages are set to unpublished. You can change these permissions to make the SmartLenses available to other users or copy these dashboard pages to a collection accessible to them.
The SmartLenses dashboard pages are filtered on the relevant data source and show data from all data streams created for that data source. The dashboard page date range is the previous month, but you can change the page’s settings.
Deleting SmartLenses Pages and Collections
If you delete a SmartLenses dashboard page, the dashboard page isn’t created in the workspace again. If you delete the SmartLenses collection, a collection is created the next time a SmartLenses dashboard page is created.
