Delete an Audience
Delete an audience in Marketing Cloud Advertising.
Note You must have administrator rights to use this feature. After an
audience is deleted, it can't be recovered. When you delete an
audience, you:
- Delete the audience from its tied social ads platform.
- Remove all associated lookalike audiences from the social ads platform.
- Delete gathered matching data and refresh data.
- In Advertising, navigate to Advertising Audiences.
- Locate the audience to delete.
- Click the actions dropdown and select Delete.
When you delete an audience, it isn’t automatically deleted in Google AdWords. For deleted lookalike audiences, Advertising Audiences retains the seed audience that it’s based on.
