Preview Optimal Send Times
Review potential times that Einstein can send messages to the contacts in a data extension. If a data extension has numerous rows, previews are based on sampling data.
In most cases, a data extension preview is built within a few minutes. To estimate how long it takes to build the preview, check the progress indicator.
When the data extension that a preview is based on is deleted, the preview is removed from the list 90 days after the extension is deleted.
- In Marketing Cloud Engagement, select Einstein.
- Click Einstein Overview.
- Click Preview.
- Select a data extension.
- Set a sending time frame.

Click Done.
The preview starts building. You can navigate away while the build is in progress.
- When the progress indicator shows Complete, click the preview to open the graph.
- Refresh a Send Time Preview
After you create a preview of a data extension in Marketing Cloud Engagement, you can refresh it to find out if Einstein’s optimal send times have changed. - Delete a Send Time Preview
When a preview is no longer useful, you can delete it from Marketing Cloud Engagement. If you delete a data extension that a preview is based on, the preview is available for 90 days after deletion.
