Create an Audit Trail Data Extract Activity
Use an extract activity to extract your audit data into a CSV file to prepare it for file transfer.
- In Automation Studio, on the Activities tab, click Create Activity.
- In the Create New Activity window, select Data Extract, and click Next.
- Complete the fields in the Properties section. For Extract Type, select Audit Trail Activity Log or Audit Trail Access Log.

Complete the fields in the Configuration section.
The maximum value that you can specify for the date range depends on your edition. Basic Audit Trail provides up to 30 days of data, and Advanced Audit Trail provides up to 60 days.

Review the activity summary. When you’re done, click Finish.
A CSV file is generated.
