Add an Image Carousel Block
Use Content Builder to add an image carousel block to your content.
The Image Carousel block allows you to add blocks of up to ten rotating images. You can set these images to auto-rotate every 7.5 seconds. Navigation arrows and radio indicators allow the recipient to manually rotate through the images.
- Drag the Image Carousel block to a content area.
- Click the block to edit.
- Add an image by clicking Browse or inserting a URL.
- Add alt text that describes the appearance and function of the image for recipients who use assistive technology to view the email.
- If necessary, add a link, then complete Image Settings.
- To add more images, click Add Image
- If needed, complete options on the Block Settings tab.
- Click Done Editing or Save.

The carousel is fully usable with a keyboard input. Users can tab to the carousel, then move left and right with the left and right arrow keys. Focus indicators show which slide is selected. The carousel also works with a screen reader. Users can focus on the carousel and move left and right to select a slide. However, this behavior is described as radio buttons along with the associated alt text of the image, rather than as slides on the carousel. If a user has set their system preferences to say that they prefer reduced motion on the screen, the animation of looping through all images in the carousel doesn’t play.
