Are these tools available in all Email Studio editions?
Content Builder is available in all Email Studio Editions. Distributed Sending and XpressMarketing accounts don’t have access to Content Builder or Content Builder emails.
How do I send an email created in Content Builder?
Content Builder emails can be sent using Email Studio Send Flow, User-Initiated Sends, Triggered Sends, Transactional Messaging REST API, Distributed Marketing, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Marketing Cloud Connect.
When do I use a Code Snippet instead of an HTML block?
When you use AMPscript to pull content blocks, the editor wraps the block in a table. If you don’t want this table wrapper, use Code Snippets.
What is the limit to the number of assets in a folder in Content Builder?
Shared folders have a limit of 5,000 assets. There’s no limit to the number of assets that can be stored in a local folder.
What is the maximum size of a file that can be uploaded to Content Builder?
The maximum file size for files uploaded to Content Builder is 5 MB for all file types.
Can I use Return Path with Content Builder emails?
No. This solution is no longer available.
Can I use Litmus with Content Builder emails?
Yes.
Have AMPscript functions changed with Content Builder?
Content Builder supports all relevant content functions, using SSJS or AMPscript. When using these functions in Content Builder, update the relevant lookup functions to reference the Content Builder content.
When I create a custom template in the new editor, why don’t my account headers and footers appear?
To get your account headers and footers to display in your
template, add the <custom type="header"/> tag where
you want the header to display and the <custom
type="footer"/> tag where you want the footer to display in your custom HTML
template.
How do I customize headers and footers for my emails created in Content Builder?
Content Builder uses the same HTML Headers and Footers created in the Setup app. See Headers and Footers.
Is there a cost associated with Content Builder?
Customers can access Content Builder at no additional cost.
