Interactive Email Form Block
The Interactive Email Form block in Marketing Cloud Engagement Content Builder allows marketers to receive subscriber information like profile data, product reviews, and sales leads directly from embedded forms in an email. Allowing subscribers to submit forms without leaving their inbox increases customer engagement and gives marketers more data.
The Email Form block is available in Content Builder for Marketing Cloud Engagement Pro editions or higher. Because the block can create, view, and write to a data extension, ensure that users have the Data Extension > Create, View, and Update permissions. To configure the block, in the app switcher:
- Hover over your name and click Setup.
- Search for Content Builder Settings.
- Enable Email Form under Block Group Configuration.
In the content block, you choose a form template to get started:
- Empty Form - Start from scratch and create any type of form you want.
- Reviews - Allow subscribers to complete product reviews or other feedback surveys. To use this data with third-party review services, build a custom Journey Builder activity to export the data externally. Or redirect the reviewer to another site while passing their form data in the URL query string.
- Progressive Profile - Collect or update subscriber preferences and demographic data, such as name, birthday, product preferences, and interests.
- Case Form - Allow subscribers to create or update a support case. Service Cloud customers can use Journey Builder to pass this data to the Service Cloud and create a case. See Sales and Service Cloud Activities in Journey Builder.
- Lead Form - Capture or update subscriber information from your leads. Sales Cloud customers
can use Journey Builder to pass this data to Salesforce.com. Se0e Sales and Service Cloud Activities in Journey
Builder.
Note The lead form doesn’t set up the lead. To set up the lead, use a Journey Builder activity.
After you define and style your form in the block, select an Interactive Email Page that you created in CloudPages to capture and validate the data. In the block, select or create a data extension that maps to your form fields and saves the submitted data.
