          Upload Files

          Upload Files

Upload content to Content Builder by dragging and dropping existing content, by browsing your computer for the content, or by uploading content from an external URL. The maximum file size per file is 5 MB.

          Note
          Note

Most content* uploaded to Content Builder is stored and published by a third-party content delivery network to ensure optimized delivery to your audiences worldwide. The content delivery network has complete access to the content and creates a public URL containing the content that isn’t protected by login credentials. Until the content is successfully published to the third-party content delivery network, the public URL returns a 404. The publishing process can take up to several minutes

Deleting a file removes it from the Content Builder library but the file remains published by our third party. If Predictive URL is enabled and you want to update an image but use the same name, use Replace rather than Delete.

*Code files aren’t published to this third party. These files include the following extensions: htm, html, xhtml, xht, css, less, sass, js, json, atom, rss, xml, sxl, sxlt, md, markdown, as, fla, eml.

          1. Click Create and mouse over Upload > Content.
          2. Click Upload.
          3. There are two ways to upload content.
            • Drag Files: Drag files from your computer to the upload window to add one or more files, then click Upload and Publish.
            • Browse for Files: Click Create, Upload, select the file, and click OK.
          • Replace Content
Replace content in Marketing Cloud Engagement Content Builder. You can only replace content added using the upload process.
