View or Modify a Template
Follow these steps to view or modify a template in Marketing Cloud Engagement Content Builder.
Editing a template doesn’t automatically update emails already created from that template. Deleting a template doesn't delete the emails created from that template.
- From the content library, select the template you want to modify.
- To edit the template, click Edit and drag blocks.
- To change existing content areas, hover over the content area, click down arrow, and select Edit.
- When finished editing the template, click Save.
To update an email that uses this template to the modified version, click Update Email Now from the email properties. The updated template adds content areas to the email for each edited template area. Review the content versions and delete the ones you don't want.
