Connect the Marketing Cloud API User in Marketing Cloud Connect

Connect the Marketing Cloud API user to the Salesforce system user to enable core system communication activities in Marketing Cloud Connect for Marketing Cloud Engagement. These activities include pushing tracking data from Engagement into your Sales or Service Cloud.

1. In Engagement, go to Email Studio.
2. Click Admin.
3. Expand Account Settings and click My Users.
4. Select the API user.
5. Click Integrate for Salesforce.com Status.
6. Enter the Salesforce system user username.
7. Save the settings.
8. The Salesforce.com Status field updates to Integrated if the connection is successful.
