Prerequisites
Review these prerequisites before installing Marketing Cloud Connect for Marketing Cloud Engagement.
- Marketing Cloud Connect requires a relationship between a single Engagement account and one or more Salesforce orgs. Your Engagement account must be provisioned and enabled for use with Marketing Cloud Connect before connection.
- Subscriber Key is required for Marketing Cloud Connect. If it isn’t enabled in your Engagement account, complete a Subscriber Key Migration before proceeding with the connection process.
- Ensure that four custom tabs are available in your Salesforce org.
- To use most Marketing Cloud Connect functionality, users need an Engagement license and a Sales or Service Cloud license.
