Create a Journey
Use a Contact Data entry event to fire events in Journey Builder using a Marketing Cloud Engagement automation or an API entry event.
Firing an event affects all journeys with an entry event that uses this event source data extension.
- Drag Event onto the canvas and click it.
- Select the Contact Data Event Type.
- Click Next.
- Click Choose Data Extension and select a sendable data extension. Use the same sendable data extension in the automation you define to fire the event.
- Configure the entry event as needed.
- Save the entry event.
Define an Automation.
