Add a Phone Number to an Existing WhatsApp Business Account in Marketing Cloud Engagement
Connect a new phone number to your existing WhatsApp Business account. The phone number can’t be associated with another personal or business WhatsApp account.
- In the app switcher, from the Mobile Studio dropdown list, select WhatsApp.
- Click Add Account.
- In the Facebook window, log in to the business Facebook account, and click Continue to give Salesforce access.
- Click Get Started to register your account.
- Click Continue to share account and billing permissions.
- Select the existing Meta Business account that you want to add the phone number to, and click Next.
- Select the existing WhatsApp Business account that you want to add the phone number to.

Select the existing WhatsApp Business profile that you want to add the phone number to, or
create one.
To create a WhatsApp Business profile, click Next and enter the WhatsApp Business profile display name for this phone number. Choose a category for your business. Optionally, provide a business description and website URL.When choosing a display name, follow the Meta guidelines for WhatsApp Business display names to ensure that the phone number is usable.
- Click Next.

Enter the phone number to use to send WhatsApp messages.
The phone number can’t be associated with an existing personal or business WhatsApp account.
- Choose a verification method, and click Next.
- Within 10 minutes, enter the verification code, and click Verify.

Complete the registration.
After setup, your phone number appears in the list of connected phone numbers first as pending and then as connected.
