          Enable Data Governance Permissions for Objects in Marketing Intelligence

          To use Data 360 Data Governance features for Marketing Intelligence, grant access to objects according to an access policy.

          Marketing Intelligence continues to evolve after setup. Each time a data source is connected or a pipeline is deployed, new Data 360 objects automatically generate in the background. As new objects are created and existing ones become relevant to new use cases, permissions must be continuously managed to ensure that users have the appropriate access.

          You can manage access using either attribute-based access control (ABAC) or role-based access control (RBAC).

          • Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC): Allows or denies access based on attributes of the user, data, or environment.
          • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Defined as part of a permission set and controls which data spaces, objects, and fields within those data spaces users can access.

          These options provide granular control over user access to data. Follow the steps in Grant Access to Data 360 Objects to assign objects to an available policy.
