DLT Template Settings for SMS Messages in India

In MobileConnect, use Digital Ledger Technology (DLT) templates to ensure that you comply with the Telecoms Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulations. DLT templates reduce spam messages and streamline the campaign process. You can use DLT template only for sending messages in India.

          Important
Important This feature is enabled by default for India sender codes on existing business units (MIDs). To prevent SMS failures, update your recurring journeys and automations with DLT-approved templates. Disable this feature to send international messages.

You can download the DLT templates from the DLT portal. For more information, see MobileConnect Guide for Sending SMS Messages to India.

          • Header (Approved Sender ID) (6 characters or 6 digits)
