          Enable Web-Based Opt-in

          Enable Web-Based Opt-in

Customers can sign up for mobile messages via a web form when a form, a mobile opt-in message, and the MobileConnect API are used to create the QueueMO REST API call.

For example, Fortune One wants to drive customers to use mobile messages. The company creates a web-based registration form. When a contact submits their information in the form, a QueueMO API call triggers an existing mobile opt-in message to confirm their subscription. After the contact confirms the subscription, Fortune One can send mobile messages regarding that account.

          1. Create the webpage that hosts the registration form and QueueMO REST API call.
            Note
Note We recommend that you include this information on the page:
            • Company name
            • Name of the marketing program using MobileConnect
            • Brief description of the program
            • Link to your terms and conditions
            • Link your privacy policy
            • Toll-free phone number for support
            • Information about STOP and HELP messages
            • Mobile opt-in information specific to your program
          2. Create a mobile opt-in message.
            1. Select the double opt-in subscription option.
            2. Enter an initial message that includes the name of the marketing program, the confirmation call to action, and message and data rate information. For example: Please confirm your registration for Fortune One Financial Alerts! Reply YES to join. Msg & data rates may apply.
            3. Enter a confirmation message that includes the name of the marketing program, how many messages can be expected in a specified amount of time, message and data rate information, and HELP and STOP information. For example: Welcome to Fortune One Financial Alerts! Msg & data rates may apply. 4 msg/mo. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.
          3. Create the QueueMO REST API trigger for your web form.
          4. Test your program before deployment.
