          Opt-ins

          After contacts download your app and enable notifications, they’re opted in to receive your push notifications and messages that you create in MobilePush.

          For iOS, your app developer must set up your app to prompt contacts to opt in to notifications. For Android, notifications are enabled by default. To use location messages, prompt contacts to enable location tracking.

          If contacts don’t enable notifications when they download the app, they can enable them later:

          • On iOS devices, contacts set a switch to On in the Notifications section under Settings.

          • Depending on the Android device, contacts either set a button or switch to On in notifications preferences within the app or allow notifications for the app in the Notifications section under Settings.
