          Test Your SAML Configuration

          Test Your SAML Configuration

Test your SAML enablement on a single user before enabling others on your account.

          1. In Setup, select Users.
          2. Select the user, and click Edit.
          3. Select Single Sign-On Enabled.
          4. For Federation ID, enter the shared identifier.
            Note
Note This ID is passed in the <NameID> tag in the SAML assertions that are sent to Marketing Cloud Engagement. For example, if you use an email address as the user identifier, the Federation ID is the email address of that user.
          5. Click Save.

The user can now sign in to Engagement using the identity provider. If the user has only one account, they can enter the application directly. Users who are mapped to more than one account must choose the account that they want to use before proceeding.

          Note
          Note

If you deactivate SSO and later reactivate it, you must perform this configuration process again.
