Enable SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On Authentication

Enable SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On Authentication

To enable single sign-on (SSO), you must have an identity provider, a Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) key, and a completed Marketing Cloud Engagement service provider configuration.

You must engage an identity provider before beginning this process.

          1. Single Sign-On Identity Provider Support
Marketing Cloud Engagement supports identity providers that use the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 specification, such as Salesforce Identity, Shibboleth, PingFederate, and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS). The identity provider must trust Engagement as a service provider, sometimes called a relying party.
          2. Configure Marketing Cloud Engagement as a Service Provider
After you configure your identity provider and create a key, configure Marketing Cloud Engagement to use the identity provider. Enable this feature in the parent account for all Enterprise and Enterprise 2.0 accounts.
          3. Test Your SAML Configuration
Test your SAML enablement on a single user before enabling others on your account.
