          Configure an Interactive Email Form

          Gather information from customers by embedding an interactive form in an email. Subscribers can respond and submit the form without leaving their inbox.

          Before you start, enable the email form block in Content Builder, and deploy the Customizable Interactive Email Form solution you'd like to use.

          • Case Form: Create or update Service Cloud cases.
          • Empty Form: Gather profile data, product reviews, and sales leads.
          • Lead Form: Gather information to create or update a lead in Service Cloud.
          • Profile Form: Gather profile and preference data about your customers.
          • Review Form: Gather product and service reviews from your customers.
          1. Customize the data extensions to gather the data that you want from your customers. Data retention settings for these data extensions aren't enabled because these data extensions contains data that’s persistent over time. Review Contact Delete Best Practices.
            1. In Contact Builder, select Data Extensions | General | Interactive Email Forms and then select the appropriate data extension group. For example, Case, Empty, Lead, Profile, or Review.
            2. Select the appropriate form responses data extension and add or update the fields.
            3. If needed, rename or move the data extensions or folders.
          2. Specify the text to send if a subscriber’s email doesn't support interactive forms.
            1. In Content Builder, select Industry Solutions | General | Interactive Email Forms and then select the appropriate content block group.
            2. Select the appropriate fallback text content block and customize the content.
            3. If needed, rename or move the content block and folders.
          3. Specify the text that subscribers see when they successfully submit the form.
            1. In Content Builder, select Industry Solutions | General | Interactive Email Forms and then select the appropriate content block group.
            2. Select the appropriate submission confirmation content block and customize the content.
            3. If needed, rename or move the content block and folders.
          4. Specify the landing page displayed upon form submission.
            1. In CloudPages, select Industry Solutions | General | Interactive Email Forms and then select the appropriate landing page group.
            2. Select the appropriate landing page and use the instructions in the template to customize and test it.
            3. Click Schedule/Publish, and then click Publish Immediately.
            4. If needed, rename or move the landing page and folders.
          5. Specify the questions to include in the form.
            1. In Content Builder, select Industry Solutions | General | Interactive Email Forms and then select the appropriate content block.
            2. Select the appropriate submission confirmation content block and customize the content.
            3. If needed, rename or move the content block and folders.
          6. Send an email message that includes the Case Form content block using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, or Email Studio.
