Configure the Data Suppression Period for Einstein Recommendations

The default suppression period before deleting a customer profile is 14 days. During the suppression period, the system holds existing data but doesn’t collect more. At the end of the suppression period, all profile data is deleted. You can change the default suppression period.

1. In Einstein Recommendations, select either Email Recommendations or Web Recommendations.
2. On the Report tab, click Admin Tools.
3. Click Privacy Settings.
4. Enter the number of days for the suppression period, up to 30 days.
5. Save the configuration.
