Create a Segment Based on Account Profile Attributes
Use account profile attributes to create segments for your campaigns that target
accounts based on those attributes. This feature is available only if your account is set up
to market to businesses.
Required Editions
Permissions Needed
To create a segment:
A role with Segments Create/Edit permissions
In the Audiences section of the main navigation, select Account Segments | Account Segments.
Click New Segment.
Enter a Segment Name that describes its purpose.
Select Metrics from the Select Category dropdown.
Select either Text Attribute or KPI from the Select Metrics Rule dropdown.
Select the attribute from the Select an attribute dropdown.
Configure the applicable parameters for the attribute.
Click Save.
Example
Some ways you can use account profile attributes in segments include:
Targeting accounts that have had an increase in support tickets in the past 30 days.
Targeting accounts that have a particular type of service plan.
