Create a Google Analytics UA Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines
Create a Google Analytics data stream to track and view reports on website traffic.

To create a Google Analytics GA4 API data stream requires a valid username and password with access to at least one Google Analytics profile.
- On the Import tab, click Add New.
- Select the Google Analytics connector.
- In the General section, click Add New and enter your credentials.
- Next to Website, select the Google Analytics View that you want to retrieve data for.
- This API only pulls in data at the website level by default.

Set more properties by using Extended Properties:
- Location Breakdown: Select to add the Country dimension.
- Get Page Levels: To pull page-level data, select the level from the dropdown. For example, if you select two levels, the first two sections of the page path are extracted to two columns in your report. Selecting all levels causes longer query times.

Get Goals Data: Select to add the Web Analytics Tags data stream
type. These fields are added.

Get Event Label Dimension: This field is added and mapped to the
Web Analytics Events Data Stream Type.

Get Pages: Select to add the Web Analytics Pages data stream type.
These fields are added.

Map as delivery entities: This checkbox is available
when Get Keywords or Get Campaigns are
selected. This selection enables data to be connected to your workspace’s delivery data. If
selected, these fields are added to the Web Analytics Data Stream Type.

- Get nonsampled data: Select to retrieve nonsampled data from Google Analytics. This capability applies to GA360.

Get Ad Content: Select to add this field to the Web Analytics data
stream type.
- Ad name
- Get Product Level Data: This selection adds ecommerce fields to your data. You can edit the mapping in the ecommerce tab in the Map to Model page. Your campaign is automatically connected to the order and items purchased, creating a connection between the campaign and the revenue that it generated.
- To view or change the mapping, click Mapping. Or you can access mapping by selecting Map to Model at the bottom of the Create New Stream page.
- To define advanced settings, at the bottom of the screen, select Advanced Settings.
- Save your work.

Quality check your data:
- Create a report in the Google Ads platform for the required date.
- Process the relevant data stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines filtered to the same date range.
- Create an identical report or pivot table in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines with the same date range, dimensions, and measurements.
- Compare the measurement totals to make sure that they’re aligned.
