          Reddit Ads API Connector

          Reddit is a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Reddit Ads is a platform users can purchase and manage advertising space.

          Prerequisites

          To connect to Reddit Ads, provide a valid Reddit username and password.

          General Setup

          Enter your credentials, then select the relevant Account you want to retrieve data for.

          Known Issues

          • Get Conversions Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve Conversion and Revenue data besides the Delivery data retrieved by the API by default. These fields are added and mapped to the Conversion Tag Data Stream Type:
            • Total Conversions
            • Post Impression Conversions (7 Days)
            • Post Impression Conversions (28 Days)
            • Post Impression Conversions
            • Post Click Conversions (7 Days)
            • Post Click Conversions (28 Days)
            • Post Click Conversions
            • Conversion Tag Name
            • Conversion Tag Category

          QA Your Data

          This section outlines the steps to take to make sure your data is working in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines.

          1. Create the desired report in the Reddit Ads platform for the required date range.
          2. Next, process the relevant Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines for the same date range.
          3. Create a Report/Pivot Table within Intelligence Data Pipelines containing the exact same Dimensions and Measurements for the same report and date range.
          4. Compare the Measurement Totals and make sure they’re aligned.

          Compare the Conversions Data as follows:

          1. Go to your Ads Manager.
          2. Under Metrics, select the metrics you want to include in the report and click Apply.
          3. You can either compare the totals in the Reddit Ads Manager or export it to CSV. Compare the Reddit Ads conversions to Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines conversions.
          4. Contrary to how it’s displayed in the Reddit platform, the Conversion Metrics in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines are transposed. For example, in the UI - there’s a Measurement for each conversion type, Add to Wishlist, Lead, Page Visit, Purchase, and so on.
          5. In Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines, to align with the Data Model and other platforms, the type of the conversion is returned as a value of a Conversion Tag Category Dimension, while the Measurement values of all conversions are available in the Total Conversions Measurement.
          6. The Total Conversions Measurement reflects the attribution window as defined in the Reddit account. Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines pulls all available Measurements for View and Click - 1 day, 7 days, and 28 days, which can be mapped manually. If you aren’t comparing Totals, ensure that you compare the Conversion Measurements in Reddit with the corresponding Measurements in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines.
