Create a YouTube Ads Custom Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines
To track and view YouTube ads, create a YouTube ads data stream.

To create a YouTube Ads API data stream, you need a valid user & password for a Google Ads account with API permissions for each account you want to pull data for.
- On the Import tab, expand Data Streams.
- Click Add New.
- Select the YouTube Ads Custom connector.
- In the General section, select the account that you want to pull data for.
- To add a new data source authentication, click Add New and enter your Google Ads credentials.
- Select the profile you want to pull data for.
- Set the time period for the initial data fetch. You can process data up to the past 180 days.

In the Extended Properties section, you can set these additional
settings:

To add dimensions associated with creative breakdown, select Creative
Breakdown. The ‘Video Duration’ measurement is added along with these
dimensions:
- Ad Name (unmapped)
- Ad Id (mapped to ‘Creative Key’)
- Video Title (mapped to ‘Creative Name’)
- VideoCannelId (mapped to ‘Creative Category’)
- Video Id (mapped to ‘Creative Concept’)
- Creative Name (mapped to ‘Creative to Billing Placement name’)
- To add dimensions associated with the device breakdown to the data stream, select Get Device Breakdown.

To add dimensions associated with creative breakdown, select Creative
Breakdown. The ‘Video Duration’ measurement is added along with these
dimensions:
- To change the mapping, click Mapping. Otherwise, you can always access mapping by selecting Map to Model at the bottom of the Create New Stream page.
- To define advanced settings, at the bottom of the screen, select Advanced Settings.
- Click Create.

Quality check your data.
- Create a report in the YouTube Ads platform for the required date.
- Process the relevant data stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines filtered to the same date range.
- Create an identical report or pivot table in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines with the same date range, dimensions, and measurements.
- Compare the measurement totals to make sure that they’re aligned.
