          Install Data Kits

Data kits are prepackaged collections of Data 360 objects, such as data model objects (DMOs), calculated insights, and identity resolution rules. Data kits are a reusable way to format external data—in this case, data from Marketing Cloud Engagement—to work with Data 360. To use the reporting tools in Marketing Cloud Next for Engagement, you must first install the Engagement data kits.

          1. In Setup, go to Marketing Cloud | Assisted Setup | Basic Settings.
          2. In the Install the Marketing Data Kits section, click Install.
The installation takes about 30 minutes to complete.

          Install Marketing Performance

Marketing Performance is a suite of reports that gives you real-time insights into your sending and engagement metrics. You can filter the reports to deep-dive by date, channel, business unit, and other metrics.

          2. On the Data Streams tab, click New.
          3. Under Connected Sources, select Marketing Cloud.
          4. Click Next.
          5. Configure the Email Studio data bundle.
            1. For Connection, select the Email item.
            2. Click Next.
            3. Click Next.
            4. Click Next.
            5. Click Deploy.
          6. Repeat this process to create bundles for the other channels that you use, such as SMS or WhatsApp.
          7. In Setup, go to Marketing Cloud | Marketing Features | Marketing Performance.
