Using a Form on External Sites

Using a Form on External Sites

Not only can you use forms on marketing landing pages, but you can also take advantage of the same end-to-end experience to build, design, test, preview, deploy, and report on forms being used on your own hosted web pages. After you configure your external site and Salesforce, grab a form's code block from its detail page. Then, embed it into the HTML of an external site, delivering the form from exactly where you need it. Plus, you can assign custom branding to a form that matches your external site.

          Required Editions

Available in: Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Next Growth or Advanced Edition, and in Starter and Pro Suite Editions. Your edition determines the options that you have.

The external site must be secure and use HTTPS. Externally hosted forms respect end-user consent. Web tracking only collects and transmits tracking information when explicit consent is given.

The form you use on an external site can be associated with a marketing landing page, but it doesn’t have to be. You can publish the form without a landing page if you plan to use the form exclusively on an external site.

Changes you make to an embedded form in Salesforce automatically appear on your external site after the form is republished.
