          Distributed Marketing and Alerts

To increase productivity and maintain brand consistency, marketers can share approved email templates with sales reps and other Salesforce users. Distributed Marketing and Alerts makes it easier for non-marketing users to send email content that’s on brand and approved by marketing.

          Required Editions

          Available in:

          • Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Next Growth or Advanced Edition and the Distributed Marketing add-on
          • Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with any Marketing Cloud Engagement+ Edition that includes the Distributed Marketing add-on
          • Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with any Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Edition that includes access to Marketing Cloud Next Growth or Advanced Edition with the Sales Emails and Alerts add-on
          • Configure an Approved Email Template for Non-Marketing Users
After an admin enables Distributed Marketing and Alerts, designate a marketing-approved email template for non-marketing users to use to send email. First, create the template in Salesforce CMS. Then, create an event-triggered campaign and select the template in the flow.
          • Send an Email with an Approved Distributed Marketing Template
After a marketing user activates an event-triggered flow with an approved email template, the email template becomes available to use with Distributed Marketing and Alerts.
          • Monitor Performance for Distributed Marketing Messages
There are a couple of different ways to keep tabs on who is engaging with messages you send with Distributed Marketing and Alerts. You can view engagement data on individual record pages with Unified Engagement History Dashboards, or use the Get Engagement Insights Summary agent tool.
