          Working with Prospects

Focus on high-value prospects, while unqualified ones remain hidden until they reach the required engagement score. You can add prospects to Marketing Cloud Next manually or import them in bulk.

          Add a Prospect

You can add new prospects if you have potential buyers who are yet to be qualified as leads.

          1. From the Prospects tab, click New.
          2. Enter the prospect's information. Provide at least last name, email, or phone number.
          3. Click Save.

          Import Prospects

If you want to add multiple prospects, you can import them using a CSV file.

          1. From the Prospects tab, click Import.
          2. Click Import from File and click Next.
          3. Click Upload File, select the CSV file, and click Next.
          4. Map each column from your file to the Salesforce field, and click Start Import.

Make sure that the Consent Status column includes opt-in values if you plan to send marketing emails.

          5. Click Done.

Create a Unified Individual Segment for Prospects

Prospects are treated as unified individuals, so you can create a unified individual segment, define rules for your prospects, and add them to campaigns.

For more information, see Manually Create a Segment and Segment Your Data with Attributes.
