            Referral Program Prerequisites

            Complete the prerequisites to prepare the reference org to run Referral Marketing-specific processes for orders placed by members on your B2C Commerce site.

            Prerequisite Reason Details
            Update the name of your referral program. The reference org contains a sample referral program named NTO Insider. You can rename the referral program based on the requirements of your company. —
            Promotions Promotions for a customer acquisition can be shown on the product’s B2C Commerce page when members view the product. Add products for your referral program and associate the products with the promotions that you create.
            Create Fixed Value type voucher definitions and define a logic to issue vouchers.

            The Referral Marketing for Commerce reference implementation provides the capability for members to redeem Fixed Value type vouchers for orders.

            The reference implementation doesn’t provide any inbuilt process to issue vouchers. Create a process to issue vouchers to members based on your referral program’s requirements.

            		 Create and activate voucher definitions. Then use rules in a referral program process to automate the process of issuing vouchers to members.

            Enter the name of the referral program to be run on the B2C Commerce site in the Referral Marketing B2C Commerce.

            Note Complete this prerequisite if you change the name of the NTO Insider referral program.
            		 The Referral Marketing B2C Commerce: Orchestrate Member Qualifying points and Tier flow uses the name to identify transaction journals for which qualifying points are reset and referral program members whose tier and benefits are managed. Enter the name of the referral program in the Set Referral Program Name Variable element of the Referral Marketing B2C Commerce: Orchestrate Member Qualifying points and Tier flow.
