Automated Referral Marketing Data Sync in Marketing Cloud Engagement

Referral Marketing relies on the Marketing Cloud Connect managed package to send data from the Referral Marketing org to a Marketing Cloud Engagement instance. The marketing journeys that are created in the connected Engagement org for activated promotions use the Referral Marketing data to send out promotion emails. The admin must install Marketing Cloud Connect in the Referral Marketing org and complete the Marketing Cloud Connect’s setup in the Referral Marketing org and in the connected Engagement instance. After setting up Marketing Cloud Connect, the admin must create Synchronized Data Sources for Referral Marketing objects in the Engagement instance.

Note Marketing Cloud was rebranded to Marketing Cloud Engagement. Some features and labels in the apps continue to refer to the old name.
