- Authenticate and Configure Domains in Unified Messaging
To send authenticated emails, you must set up and verify your sending domains in Unified Messaging. Authenticating your sending domains helps Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and enterprise mail servers recognize emails sent through Salesforce originate from your organization, not Salesforce itself. This authentication builds trust with Email Service Providers (ESPs), improves email deliverability, and strengthens your sender reputation. - Authenticate a From Address for Unified Messaging
Add an authenticated From address using an authenticated domain when sending messages from a Unified Messaging email channel. This address appears in the From section of all emails sent from this channel. - Set Up Email Carbon Copy (CC) in Unified Messaging
Set up email CC to enable your marketers to send copies of Unified Messaging emails to external and internal recipients. Both the primary recipients and the CC recipients can see who was copied on the message. Each email sent to a CC recipient consumes a Salesforce Message Credit, in addition to credits for the primary recipient. - Configure Reply Mail Management for a Unified Messaging Domain
Automatically reply to incoming email messages, delete unwanted responses, and forward messages to a specific inbox to review later. - Implement Conversational Email
Conversational Email enables two-way engagement in Marketing Cloud Next. You can configure outbound messages to accept replies. The system evaluates replies to determine intent and triggers automated actions or routes conversations to AI agents or human reps within the same email thread. - Turn On Einstein Metrics Guard for Unified Messaging
Einstein Metrics Guard identifies and filters clicks and opens that likely come from bots, security scanners, or automatic opens. This process helps you better understand actual recipient engagement. - Email Engagement Data in Unified Messaging
Unified Messaging captures email engagement data in two data model objects (DMOs) in Data 360. Every send or interaction with your email messaging activities generates this information. You can use these fields to segment audiences or populate reports on your messaging activities. - Email Send Validations in Unified Messaging
Unified Messaging automatically performs several validation checks during the email send process. These checks help protect sender reputation, ensure compliance, and reduce the likelihood of sends with rendering errors. - Managed Dedicated IP Addresses
Managed dedicated IP addresses help reduce the time required to start sending email. Whether sending your first message or scaling to larger audiences, they provide easier access to sending infrastructure that aligns with your business needs as they grow.
