SMS Code Provisioning Guidelines
Use a Brazil short code for two-way sends that support marketing and transactional sends. Network carriers require monthly sending rates of at least 100,000 sends per month to keep a short code active. We recommend planning your sending rate as soon as possible before procuring a short code. Conduct marketing sends from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM (UTC−03:00). You also can't send messages during national holidays.
Financial services customers must register full URLs used in messages before sending. Brazilian carriers can block these messages in order to implement additional fraud protection. When applying for a code, include sample content with URLs to prevent blocking these messages. Make sure your messages include the name of the business and a full list of URLs.
