          Billing Considerations for Unified Messaging

          When you send a message, Unified Messaging uses both messaging services and Data 360 services. In addition to Salesforce Message Credits, these activities also consume Data 360 credits.

          Unified Messaging for email and SMS is available in: Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions for Service Cloud AND Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Next Growth and Advanced Editions
          Unified Messaging for WhatsApp is available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions for Marketing Cloud Engagement Growth and Advanced Editions
          Unified Messaging for email is supported in Government Cloud Plus
          Unified Messaging for Mobile Apps is available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions for Marketing Cloud Advanced Edition. Mobile App Messaging is available only in Marketing Cloud Next accounts hosted in Germany and the United States.

          Salesforce Message Credits - Email Email Salesforce Message Credit usage is calculated based on the number of messages sent.

          You’re charged for all email messages sent from your account, whether they’re delivered or not.

          Each email sent to a carbon copy (CC) recipient also consumes a Salesforce Message Credit.

          Salesforce Message Credits - SMS SMS Salesforce Message Credit usage is calculated based on the number of messages sent.

          You’re charged for all mobile-originated (MO) and mobile-terminated (MT) messages, whether they’re delivered or not.

          Billing rates differ based on country destination and the originating phone number. To determine subtype rates, review the rate card at Multipliers for Salesforce Message Credits.

          Salesforce Message Credits - WhatsApp WhatsApp Salesforce Message Credit usage is calculated based on the number of messages sent. Billing rates differ based on the subtype that each message falls into. To determine subtype rates, review the rate card at Multipliers for Salesforce Message Credits. You’re charged for all messages delivered from your account.
          Salesforce Message Credits - Mobile App Mobile App Salesforce Message Credit usage is based on the number of monthly active devices. A device becomes a monthly active device after the first instance in the monthly billing window that it emits a registration or custom event to Salesforce. You’re charged for all messages sent from your account, whether they’re delivered or not.
