You are here:
Manage Scheduled Exports for a Data Backup
Schedule an export of your backup data to your existing endpoints in the Schedule Exports menu. When the Scheduled Export runs, it will export your last successful backup (either full or for specific objects).
You can see the export in the Jobs tab under Scheduled backup export.
Only an Admin or a Master Admin can create, edit, or delete a scheduled export.
The process for creating and managing Scheduled Exports is the same for Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Create and Manage Endpoints for Backup Export
In the Endpoints tab of the Account Settings page, you can view existing endpoints, as well as create a new endpoint to export your backup. - Export a Backup to an Amazon S3 Bucket
You can export backup data to an external Amazon S3 bucket. You can export a full backup or a backup of selected objects. - Export a Backup to an SQL Database
You can export manually backup data to an SQL database using a generated SQL script which inserts all data and relationships into the database. You can export a full backup or a backup of selected objects. - Export a Backup to a Microsoft Azure Blob
Export your Salesforce backup data to a Microsoft Azure blob, so that you can store data externally for additional backups or integrate with other services. Exporting to Azure blob storage can facilitate the use of archived data in external reports, which can help with data analysis and reporting storage. - Export a Backup to a Snowflake Data Warehouse
You can export a full backup or a backup of selected objects to a Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Salesforce Objects Excluded from Exports
Some objects are skipped when exporting to Endpoints in MySQL, Amazon S3, Azure Blob, or Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Considerations for Viewing Large CSV Files
When you view and manage large CSV files in Salesforce Backup & Recover, keep these points in mind.
