Handle Compliance Categorization and Data Sensitivity Level of Salesforce Fields

For Salesforce fields assigned a Data Sensitivity Level or a Compliance Categorization, the Anonymize application sets a data sensitivity level for the field and identifies if the field needs to be anonymized. The status of the field is shown in the anonymize template.

          Assessment of Field Properties

A Salesforce field is marked as sensitive information based on an assessment of these field properties:

          • Compliance Categorization: The compliance acts, definitions, or regulations that pertain to a field’s data identify whether the field's value is categorized as public or private.
          • Data Sensitivity Level: The sensitivity of the data contained in the field. Any field containing a default value of either Internal, Confidential, Restricted, or MissionCritical identifies that the field's value is classified as sensitive.

          Field Status in Anonymize Template

Once the Anonymize application assesses both the Compliance Categorization and the Data Sensitivity Level of a Salesforce field and identifies that the field's value is categorized as private or classified as sensitive, the application proactively assigns that field with a recommended Replace with (anonymization) value. You can always manually modify the recommended Replace with (anonymization) value for that field.
