- The CSV file can contain a maximum of 100,000 rows.
- The CSV file must have column header labels in the first row and data in the rest of the rows.

For example:

description or comments column.

Update Data in a Data Source in Agentforce Supply Chain
Upload a new CSV file to add, edit, or delete records in an existing table data source.
Update a data source by uploading a new CSV file. The new or update file's column header labels must match and be in the same order as the original. The data from the new file is merged with the existing data by using the primary field to match records.
Use the same process to add rows, edit rows, or delete rows.
| Update Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Add rows | Include all existing rows plus the new rows in the CSV file. Then, upload the CSV file. | Add a fourth supplier to a list of three. Upload a CSV file with all four suppliers. |
| Edit rows | Change any column value except the primary column value. Upload the CSV with the updated values. The new values replace the existing ones across all workflows. | Update the amounts of product line items. Update the values of the Amount column, then upload the CSV file. |
| Delete rows | Remove the row from the CSV file and upload it. After it is deleted, users can no longer select that row data from the data source picker in tasks and workflows. | Remove a customer from a customer list. Remove the customer's row in the CSV file and upload it. |
- In the navigation sidebar, click Admin, then click the Data Sources tab.
- Click the three dot menu for the data source you want to update, and then click Update.
-
Select the new or updated CSV file.
The file has to have the same column header labels in the same order as the original. If the header labels are different, the update fails.
- Click Next: Configure Object.
-
Review the Basic info page and click Continue.
You can't modify the Basic info page.
- Optionally, make updates to the AI agent access and SMART SEARCH columns.
- Click Continue.
- Optionally, make updates to user access.
-
Click Continue.
The data source is updated. If any selected row values changed, those changes are automatically reflected in any workflow where a user has selected the row.
