Schedule Automatic Backups in Backup & Recover for Salesforce
Specify the time to run Salesforce automatic backups, such as during off-peak hours, to minimize the impact on system performance.
- Under the Options menu, select General.
- Select the time you want the daily backup to begin.
- Select the day you want the full backup to run.
Data Classification: Select whether the service contains production data.
Note Changes to
Daylight Savings Time trigger a backup, and could create two backups for that day. The latter of
the backups will eventually be deleted, to maintain a backup per day.
