Protect Your Data with Backup Services for ServiceNow
Safeguard your critical business information by adding a backup service to your account. After selecting a service type and completing the initial setup, backups run automatically to give you peace of mind knowing your data is secure and recoverable.
- OAuth setup is required in ServiceNow before adding a new service. See Configure OAuth for ServiceNow.
- Make sure you are logged out of your cloud service provider.
- The first time you sign in to your Own account, you'll be prompted to add a backup service.
- Go to the Backup tab and click New Service
- Select the ServiceNow icon.

Enter the required fields:
- Business Unit
- ServiceNow Instance Name: Your ServiceNow base domain instance URL. For example: https://dev123.service-now.com
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Click Add Service.
