Protect Your Data with Backup Services for ServiceNow

Safeguard your critical business information by adding a backup service to your account. After selecting a service type and completing the initial setup, backups run automatically to give you peace of mind knowing your data is secure and recoverable.

          • OAuth setup is required in ServiceNow before adding a new service. See Configure OAuth for ServiceNow.
          • Make sure you are logged out of your cloud service provider.
          • The first time you sign in to your Own account, you'll be prompted to add a backup service.
          1. Go to the Backup tab and click New Service
          2. Select the ServiceNow icon.
          3. Enter the required fields:
            • Business Unit
            • ServiceNow Instance Name: Your ServiceNow base domain instance URL. For example: https://dev123.service-now.com
            • Client ID
            • Client Secret
          4. Click Add Service.
