Deploy Using DevOps Center
Manage changes and releases collaboratively with DevOps Center, a tool designed for both low-code admins and pro-code developers. DevOps Center ensures a single source of truth and provides governed, version-controlled deployments by connecting your development environments (sandboxes, scratch orgs) to a source control repository.
DevOps Center tracks changes in work items and moves them through a configurable pipeline. Each pipeline stage includes a branch and a target org. Promoting work items between stages deploys your changes to the target org. Use DevOps Center to manage releases with built-in approval and visibility, especially when multiple teams share the environments and release paths.
With DevOps Center, you can:
- Track changes in work items.
- Commit changes, including metadata and configuration data, from your org using DX Inspector.
- Create change requests for peer review.
- Promote work items through pipeline stages.
- Resolve merge conflicts or deployment failures using DevOps Center Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.
For smaller, specific deployments of metadata and configuration data that don't require a full pipeline, use the metadata and data deployment feature from DX Inspector. See Metadata and Data Deployment
