          Send Mobile In-App Message Marketing Flow Element

          The Send Mobile In-App Message action element sends an in-app message from Salesforce CMS to users of your mobile app.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Marketing Cloud Growth or Advanced Edition.
          Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

          Set Input Values

          Select the segment from the flow’s Start element. You can customize the content of the in-app message in your Marketing content workspace.

          Input Parameter Description
          In-App Message

          The in-app messaging content to send.

          Create and manage in-app messaging content in your Marketing content workspace.

          Select Sender App

          The mobile app to send the in-app message from.

          Configure your mobile apps in the Unified Messaging section of Setup.

          Set Message Expiration The message expiry timeframe.
          Set Message Display Trigger The event that triggers the message to appear.
          Set Display Options The message priority, display delay time, and display devices.

          Set Message Expiration

          Configure the expiration timeframe for the in-app message.

          FIELD Description
          Default The message expires 180 days after you activate the flow.
          Custom

          The message expires in a custom timeframe.

          Set the display start date and time, end date and time, and time zone.

          Dynamic

          The message expires after a specific time.

          Enter the duration for which the message appears after the flow is activated.

          Set Message Display Trigger

          Select the event that triggers the in-app message to appear.

          FIELD Description
          System Event

          A system event triggers the message display.

          Select the system event that causes the message to appear.

          Custom Event

          A custom event triggers the message display.

          For Display Message When, select This Event Occurs, Any of the Criteria Occurs, or All of the Criteria Occur. If you select Any of the Criteria Occurs or All of the Criteria Occur, add attributes, operators, and values to define the message display criteria.

          Note This option appears only if your sender app has active custom mobile app events. See Set Up Custom Mobile App Events in Marketing Cloud Next.

          Set Display Options

          Set the priority for the in-app message and delay its display.

          FIELD Description
          Set the message priority The message appears according to the priority that you set.
          Delay the message display The message appears after the delay time that you enter.
          Display Frequency Select Once, Every Time the Display Trigger Activates, or Fixed Display Limit. If you select Every Time the Display Trigger Activates, choose the user actions that stop showing the message. If you select Fixed Display Limit, enter the number of times you want to show the message on a device and the user actions that stop showing the message.
