Provide User Profile Access to the Asset Field
Grant field-level access to the Asset field on Service Resource to allow users to create or manage resources in Salesforce Scheduler.
Update the Service Resource Page Layout for Asset Scheduling
Give users access to Asset Scheduling on the Service Resource page.
Update the Default Asset Sharing Setting (Optional)
The default sharing setting for assets is Controlled by Parent, which requires a parent account and/or contact to be defined for an asset. However, assets do not always require parent accounts. To remove this restriction, change the default sharing setting.
Create Assets in Salesforce Scheduler
Create assets such as meeting rooms and equipment.
Make AssetsAvailable for Scheduling
Add your assets as service resources to make them available for scheduling.
