Book a Service Appointment by Using an Appointment Invitation URL
Use the appointment invitation URL to book service appointments.

| To book an appointment by using an invitation URL or to modify an appointment booked by using an invitation URL: | Read Access on Appointment Invitation object. |

Important
- To book appointments by using invitation URLs, users must have access to appointment invitations, service territories, work types or work type groups, and service resources that are selected in the invitation URLs. Users must also have access to the Book Appointment from Invitation flow. Administrators can provide the required read-only access to the objects by using sharing settings or Apex sharing.
- To either book appointments by using invitation URLs or modify appointments that are booked by using invitation URLs, ensure that profiles have visible field-level security access to the Appointment Invitation field of the Service Appointment object.

Use a web browser to go to the appointment invitation URL.
The URL opens with the starting week of when the service resource is available. The calendar shows only the time slots that are available between the shared start and end dates. You can use

to go to previous week and next week,
respectively. Use
and
to jump to the first week
and last week of availability, respectively. - Select a time slot, and then click Next.
- Review your service appointment details. Optionally, you can enter a subject and description for the appointment.
- If you’re a guest user, enter your first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
