          Considerations for Holidays

Here are some things to keep in mind when you set up holidays.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience.
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
          • Holiday is a timezone-agnostic object. Holidays automatically acquire the time zone of the associated service territory. For example, if you associate a holiday to the San Francisco branch, the holiday takes effect in Pacific Standard Time hours. But if the same holiday is assigned to the New York branch, it takes effect in Eastern Standard Time hours.
          • If two service territories use the same operating hours, then if a holiday is linked to one of the service territories, it is automatically assigned to the other service territory. For example, San Francisco and San Jose branches use the same operating hours. If a holiday named Thanksgiving is linked to San Francisco, the same holiday is also applied for the San Jose branch.
          • You can’t create Holidays with Experience cloud.
          • Recurring holidays aren’t supported.
