Create holidays for a day or for specific hours of a day. For example, create a holiday
called Independence day for July 4 or a holiday called Christmas Eve between 2 PM and 11 PM for
December 25.
Required Editions

User Permissions Needed
To create holidays:
Manage Business Hours Holidays
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Holidays, and then select
Holidays.
Click New.
If you want to clone an elapsed holiday, click Clone next to the
name of the elapsed holiday.
Type the holiday name, description, and date.
Perform an action:
If the holiday is for the whole day, select All Day.
If the holiday is for specific hours, deselect All Day, and then
enter the start and end time for the holiday.
Deselect Recurring Holiday.
Salesforce Scheduler doesn’t support recurring holidays.
Save your changes.
